Gel nails are amongst the most popular nail beautification ideas. Preferred over acrylics due to their natural look and feel by clients and nail technicians, gel nails are here to stay. They are easy to apply, cure quickly under a UV light and can be applied as an overlay, extension on tips or even sculpted on nails for extra length. The gel is usually transparent, pink or white to mimic the natural nail color. The shine and finish on application usually eliminates the need to use nail polish. However, if you prefer colored nails to flaunt your beautiful manicure and pedicure, the best way to do it would be with colored UV gels that are available in a wide range of colors to suit the season, mood or your outfit. These also last longer than over the counter nail polish.
