Basing on clinical setting, wound management is such important facts to know not only for the health professional, care givers but for individual instead. Wound management is the clinical discipline that is devoted to the management of wounds. The approach is usually a team one with a number of different disciplines, such a medicine, nursing and podiatry involved in the management of wounds. There are many types of wounds that that need special management. These include surgical wounds as a the results of a surgical incision; there are the diabetic foot ulcer that commonly occur in those with diabetes; there are the pressure ulcers that often develop in those who are bed ridden and unable to move much in bed so preferably wound management is much needed for them to prevent getting it worst.
