    Helping Dad with His Sciatica

    My father has sciatica and is currently trying to decide between different treatment methods. His doctor has given him a prescription pain medication yet he does not like to take those. He is also seeing a physical therapist but that only lessens the pain for a while. Epidurals are the next step according to his doctor and this is of concern to us because of the side effects that may occur. We are hoping to find another way to relieve his pain and stop it from recurring. Right now my mom is researching the web to see if she can find suggestions from others who suffer from sciatica. I hope she finds something that helps.
