Using dumbells for a great back workout

The back is a large complex muscle group that needs to be worked from many different directions and in many different ways. I want to talk about leaving the barbell out of the workout alltogether and only use dumbells. You can do many of the barbell exercises with dumbells, but its not going to feel the same because of all the control you have with a dumbell. A big dumbbell exercise for the back is the one arm dumbell bent row. You can either do this with support or without. i prefer to not use any support because of all stabilizing muscles that are recruited during the lift. Many other exercises such as the deadlift can be performed with dumbells aswell.
