Tips for Maintaining your Luxury Watch

Having superior quality Patek Phillippe watches still requires regular maintenance. We have collected some useful tips to ensure the longevity of your watch: Don’t wear it underwater. Just because a watch is water resistant and humidity protected, do not assume that it is waterproof. Therefore, do not wear your watch in the shower or while swimming. Take good care of your watch. Although Patek Philippe watches are made from sapphire crystal (sapphire is the most shatterproof and scratch resistant), that does not mean you should abuse it. Take care of your watch, you want to enjoy it for as long as possible. Clean it regularly. Clean your watch by dipping a soft brush in lukewarm soapy water, and brushing it gently. This should help to maintain its luster. Use a toothbrush to clean the bracelet if it’s metal, use leather balm if it’s made of fine leather. Store it. When not wearing it, keep your watch in a soft cloth or even better, in its original box.
