Decorating your aquarium can be exciting, fun, and quite a bonding experience between partners, friends, and family. Making a basic design scheme, choosing all of the right pieces, and creating your aquatic dreamscape right in your aquarium is quite fulfilling. One of the most important components of aquarium decor is aquarium rocks. A word of warning when buying aquarium rocks, try not to purchase rocks that have very small, hard-to-reach crevices.
One of the problems that many aquarium owners have with aquarium rock is that fish tend to hide in small crevices where you can’t find or reach them. This can make tank maintenance tasks quite exhausting and you may even make the mistake of throwing out some of your aquatic life out with a rock you thought was empty. Look for rocks that have adequate hiding places for your fish, but are still easy to clean and maintain.
