Down South

I never realized how dry it could get in one place.  I grew up in the Midwest, and there aren’t many deserts near where I am from.  When I heard that we were taking a trip out to Arizona for a work project, I didn’t know what to expect.  While I was there, I actually learned a lot about how to preserve and use resources that the earth provide.  They have rain barrels everywhere out there, because they need them for the ground.  I brought back a few rain barrel diverters as souvenirs.  It isn’t the coolest thing in the world, but I imagine that I’ll be using it soon.
