What are jute rugs?

Jute rugs are usually high traffic rugs you put in the kitchen or in walkways. There are a million and one uses but they are very sturdy rugs designed for high traffic uses. They kind of look like a bur-bur rug but more flat like astro-turf (but softer). You can find a nice variety of these rugs online and many sites have pictures of their selection. You will find something for just about every room in your home. These rugs do protect your floor, tile, and many use them over carpets to protect high traffic areas. They come in a beautiful assortment.
