Insurance Prospecting – Barbeques and Luaus

An excellent way to do some insurance prospecting that is sure to draw people in is to host a barbeque or a luau. Typically nobody refuses an invitation for free food and if you leave the guest list open, passers-by will stop and mingle as well. The key to a successful barbeque or luau is to find a caterer or other qualified person to handle the food preparation at a realistic cost.
In addition, you should make sure you have literature and promotional items available for those in attendance to read and take with them at their leisure. You should create an atmosphere of fun, which will make people take your materials willingly without the pressure of a sales pitch.
