Great Financial Advice from a Friend

Our exmormon friend could be a bit of a stinker at times, but he gave us some great advice about saving money on groceries.  He said we had to be willing to eat unexciting food. He would get large amounts of salad at Costco and he never spent more than $2 a pound on meat. Whenever I go grocery shopping now, I think of our exmormon friend who moved away, especially when I look at meat prices. I get way excited when I find meat for under $2 a pound, like the huge pork loin I bought for $1.89 a pound. What a great deal!
