Woman Found Dead In Airport Bathroom

Thirty-three year old Marjorie Lopez was found dead yesterday, in one of the bathrooms in the International Airport. Lopez was discovered hanged from a metal pipe with a leather belt, and the coroner has placed the cause of her death as asphyxiation. Her 12-year-old daughter was found waiting in the lobby. When questioned, she said that her mother had asked her to wait there while she went to speak with the girl’s father. One of the pieces of evidence found at the crime scene was a passport consent form that contained the signature of Lopez’s estranged husband, Emilio Sanchez, who had repeatedly tried to kidnap his daughter prior to this incident. Police are investigating the possibility that Sanchez was responsible for Lopez’s death. Sanchez’s representatives declined comment.
