People from different parts of the country usually opt for going to Srinagar at the time of snowfall. They book their air tickets in advance and board the flights to Srinagar on the scheduled date. Srinagar has domestic airport which is well served with various flights plying from major cities of India to Srinagar on regular basis. The airport is located 15 kms away from the city center as it is located in the valley surrounded by mountains from three sides. People usually visit Srinagar at the time of snowfall and for that they need to book their air tickets in advance as it is not easy to avail them during peak season.
